School of Water Conservancy and Electrical Engineering

The department has over 1,600 students, 80 full-time or part-time teachers, and 7 majors. It runs 2 training centers in electric power and water conservancy, containing 15 experimental training rooms and 6 shared basic experimental training rooms. It owns the first domestic full-simulation gravity dam and comprehensive water conservancy application training platform that integrates teaching, scientific research and social service. It has won 3 provincial teaching achievement awards and more than 20 prizes in national vocational college teaching ability competitions and skills competition. One teacher won the honorary title of "National Outstanding educator". In recent years, the employment rate of students has remained above 98%.
